What Is Two Component Microcement?
Two component microcement combines a cement-based powder with liquid resin. It is applied by hand, giving each surface its own subtle pattern and character. The result is a continuous decorative finish that brings a natural look to floors and walls.
Suitable systems can cover existing tiles, concrete and other prepared surfaces, making microcement a practical option for renovation. The choice of base coat, finish and sealer depends on where it will be used and the condition of the existing surface.
Different textures allow you to create anything from a fine wall finish to a more textured floor. Colours can be chosen to work with wood, stone and other materials, helping connect the design across kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces.
Good preparation and correct application help the finish perform well over time. Each layer must be applied according to the product instructions, and a suitable sealer protects the surface from moisture and dirt. Regular cleaning with a neutral-pH cleaner helps maintain its appearance.

Acricem Acricem is the acrylic resin that acts as component B of Sttandard, our traditional two-component microcement. A water-based resin that stands out for its excellent penetration and substrate stabilisation, while also providing extra hardness to Sttandard coatings.
